Juvenile Dentistry -
Dr. Sylvia L. Gudiño F. is
generally accepted as the best in Costa Rica. Read her CV
here. I recently decided to help a needy family with a 4
year old girl suffering from Severe Early Childhood Caries (see
example here) and she is terrific. The prices are fair
and her clinic is so impressive you would not believe it.
Located 25 meters north of the Catholic church in Zapote. She
devised a complete rehabilitation plan after the first
consultation and produced a computerized print-out of the
treatments with the payments due for each stage. A real pro who

real pro at all things electronic that show pictures or make
sound. TV's, VCR's etc. he is your man. He doesn't speak English
but understands Spanglish. Honest and dependable.

White Goods Repair and Painting-
Carlos Chacón is near the Hipermas in Paso Ancho,
San José. He does a great job at a very fair price on
refrigerators, washers, dryers, etc. He makes house calls from
Cartago to Alajuela with his 1964 Toyota van. If he can keep
that van running he can fix anything!
