Dr. Carlos Ml. Escalante A. is
a very good dental surgeon ( Cirujano Dentista) located in
Sabanilla one kilometer east of the Rotunda de la Bandera. He
lived in California as a child and speaks perfect English. He is
Tico, 52 years old and has beautiful modern facilities. He
taught for 20 years at the school of dentistry at the UCR.

Juvenile Dentistry -
Dr. Sylvia L. Gudiño F. is
generally accepted as the best in Costa Rica. Read her CV
here. I recently decided to help a needy family with a 4
year old girl suffering from Severe Early Childhood Caries (see
example here) and she is terrific. The prices are fair
and her clinic is so impressive you would not believe it.
Located 25 meters north of the Catholic church in Zapote. She
devised a complete rehabilitation plan after the first
consultation and produced a computerized print-out of the
treatments with the payments due for each stage. A real pro who
